If you saw her you could tell,
Sunshine was her color,
She wore the sun well.
Eyes so bright, pierced right through,
With her around,
You could never feel blue.
Life was on her side.
Her sunny smiles,
Spread far and wide.
A dose of happiness, unbound,
With her near,
Laughter was always around.
So now on days uncomfortably mellow,
I think of her,
Sunshine and yellow.
And even though, she isn’t near,
As long as the sun shines,
I know she is here.
Sunshine was her color,
She wore the sun well.
Eyes so bright, pierced right through,
With her around,
You could never feel blue.
Life was on her side.
Her sunny smiles,
Spread far and wide.
A dose of happiness, unbound,
With her near,
Laughter was always around.
So now on days uncomfortably mellow,
I think of her,
Sunshine and yellow.
And even though, she isn’t near,
As long as the sun shines,
I know she is here.
So beautiful and so apt! Love it.
